Replacement shower curtain

When we bought our trailer last fall the shower curtain had been removed and a curtain hanging on a shower rod had been put in. Is there a replacement curtain available out there? Any help is appreciated.

Do you mean like an official Airstream curtain, or what? Or do you mean shower door?
I don't think there is an official Airstream curtain, seems like most buy a regular shower curtain that meets their liking, and cut it to size.

I found that the original folding shower door on my 1984 Excella (mid bath) took up way to much of the entry way for my 6'4" 250 lb. frame. Installing a shower rod and a vibrantly colored shower curtain cut to size was a very good solution giving me the extra 4 inches to tip toe into the shower!

I guess I mean a shower door. I've never seen one so I don't know what I'm talking about (obviously). All I know is that there is a piece of plastic attached to the shower wall which looks like it has had the rest of the door torn off. We put up a curtain rod and shower curtain but thought the original might be a better choice. Are you saying you think a curtain cut to size is a better solution than the original? Thanks for your help.

For a 1984 31' mid bath Excella the shower door was an accordian folding plastic door with the "pleats" about 4 inches wide. When the door was in the open position the folded pleats stacked up and used up some of the entry way width. With a shower curtain cut to size you do not have this problem. I find that the shower curtain works very well...and it is easy to replace and allows many decorating/color options. My recommendation is to go with a shower curtain.

I believe the curtain in our 1982 Limited to be original. There is a velcro strip the entire length of the door opening on each side. The curtain itself has velcro attachments evenly spaced every few inches up and down its length. I am also 6'4" and this arrangement works well. There is no loss of entry space in the entry way.

I had a problem in my '77 31 ft. I could open the shower door fine from the outside, but had trouble getting out again.

One cold autumn day in Wisconsin the wind blew out the water heater pilot light. I was done with my shower, and the hot water was gone. I sat in the shower for about an hour, wet and cold. Brett was outside and didn't know I was stuck in the stupid shower. I couldn’t warm up, because the pilot light was out.

Needless to say, the door was gone not much later. If I hadn't been able to make the dogs start barking I might have waited all day for Brett to return.

It was an accordion-fold plastic door. Your POs may have had a similar experience. The sad thing was we had just replaced all the wheeled hangers a few months before.

PO of my 1987 installed a new shower door that is a white vinyl sheet that winds up much like a window shade. Works very well. I would assume they purchased at camping world or similar store.
