Replace tub with shower enclosure

has anyone removed the tub and replaced it with one of those shower pans and the three sides you connect.

We put a 24 inch shower pan in and used the existing walls. I made my own "custosm" oval copper shower rod by shaping 1/2 inch pipe. The shower curtain can then come all the way around.

I would love to see a picture of the shower that you came up with. I am in the middle of a bathroom remodel myself.

I would love to see the pictures an know your source for the pan. I just picked up a 72 Ambassador and the tub had been removed....trying to decide which direction to go with it.

how about a one piece unit, cut on top (judiciously) to match the AS shape(s)? door or curtain across the opening.

Sounds like a fine idea...do you know where I might find one? I've looked at a couple 24"x36" tubs that would work but they don't seem to utilize the space well.
