Renovation using w/Airstream shower 203081-01?
I'm looking to renovate my 1986 29' side bath using the Airstream shower 203081-01 (or -2). This turns it to exit to the hall. I'm building all new cabinets so modifications are possible. They are expensive but would save me time, exit to the hall and reduce potential leaks. It appears I would need to adjust the plumbing pipes and maybe reduce the stall height an inch or two.
Has anyone successfully implemented this!!
Thanks, Scott

I spoke to Airstream service yesterday. They commented that others have successfully used this but it does require some modifications. It is also the same as shown on the Silver Trailer Supply website (been calling them for 3 weeks with no reply).
From what I can tell the -01 version is used on rear door Airstreams. It appears this means it is on the side of the AS that does not protrude into the hallway as far (not as deep). My 1986 29' mid-bath has the shower and bath together and is about 38" deep from hall to wall.If the shower is only 32" deep then I will have to either widen the hall or mount the shower off the AS inner wall. The latter should help compensate for my AS which has the round body. So far I can see no downsides to using this assembly except for costs (>$1000 plus shipping).
I'm going up to the dealer today to take measurements. and possibly order the stall. More to come

Update - The local AS dealer was very helpful and had a 1995 in restoration. Unfortunately I came away with more questions then answers.
Neither the new AS's or the 1995 matched the shower stall prints. Each had a jog in the seat section which will not allow it to fully sit over the wheel well. This won't work for my trailer. There is too many unknowns for me to purchase a $1000 stall (plus $400shipping) so I decided to go back to the base replacement sold by Inland RV and build my own walls.

Which model shower?
working on a complete remodel. So far all interior panels, insulation and subfloor were removed. I have insulated the floor and replaced all but two pc's of subfloor. I left those off because a test of the holding tanks turned up leaky dump valves. Replaced those yesterday. My unit had what I believe is called the mid bath. The shower seat mirrors the wheel well. Previous owner started this remodel and I have no shower parts at all. I looked at a complete shower unit for $1100+ $400 shipping. Not positive that's even the right unit. I have no way to know where the drain was in the previous shower pan? Anyone have any insight here?

Looked on your profile - 1989 34' excella... sidebath? Were 89's before widebody came in? If so curve has changed.

The shower you have is actually larger than the shower you want.

Its half way down on the right side.

The Airstream document archive shows floorplans for a 89 34' side bath. https://www.airstream.com/service/document-archive/ All show the bath on the street side. The "tub" of the shower looks similar to my 86 29'. The opening from my shower enters into the bathroom, not hallway. Dimensions measured from outer sides of tub, center of pipe.. My drain is 6" in from the hallway wall and 15.75" from the shower entry. Yours could be similar but an other owner of your model should confirm. Scott

I am not finding the 34' specifically on that site. I see 25, 29 and 32

Pulling my hair out
I have discussed shower/tubs now with AS, and 3 after market suppliers. Each time it gets cloudy. I can’t seem to find a stall or pan and surround for my unit. Seems like I have no choice but to buy a pan and build the walls. Even then I’m not certain which pan to get. AS can’t tell me the dimensions of the original. Anybody with this same unit able to break out a tape measure and camera for me?
