O.K. here is a novices question for those trailer engineers. Is there a reason that you have to use RV faucets in an Airstream. I gutted my 77 tradewind bath down to the ABS (or is it fiberglass) shower pan and sink shelf. I want to prime & repaint those surfaces Then find an aluminum molding to to screw and seal on over the seams. Can I install regular household shower valve ,sprayhead,and faucet ?

Sure. That's what I did in our coach - bought a Moen.
