We have a 2002 Land Yacht motorhome. The paint at the bottom of the kitchen sink has peeled off. My wife wants it refinished ! I tried to get a guy who does bath refinishing to come over and have a look...Still waiting!
I am thinking of removing the sink to get it redone with powder coating. The problem is to remove it. The sink is attached underneath to the Corian surface by brackets. I cannot get to the screws because of the cabinet itself.

There are products you can finish it with, but most require spraying to get a good finish. Por15 makes a catalyzed white coating for refinishing sinks and bathtubs that should flow out OK. Here is a link and they show it being applied by brush. I have some on order, but haven't recieved it yet.
The "bath refinishing guy" will probably use an epoxy acrylic type of catalyzed coating. This type of product works better for tubs and showers than it does for sinks. The difference is the result of pots, pans, dishes, silverware, knives, etc banging against the finished surface vs. a person's bare skin. I suspect that the "bath refinishing guy" will want $100 to $300 to repair and refinish your sink, it will look great until the process starts all over again. I have used epoxy acrylic finishings for showers, wall tile and counter tops. They work great for these applications. Sinks are not recommended. I have not used the Por15 product on sinks, but have used them on my metal frame with excellent results. It might be a better option as a "do it yourself" project and if someone else has used it maybe they can comment. Maybe a new sink is the best option, though. Good luck!
The same thing is happening to the sink in mt 2000 Land Yacht. I called Jackson Center and they recommended replacing it, as if it was easy to get out and in!! Since the base sink is stainless, I hope to just remove the existing finish and have a SS sink.
We just happened on this thread. POR is a really good product. We, just happen to sell the stuff. They have lots of products that work really well on Airstreams. The have a brush-on clearcoat, a clearcoat stripper, an aluminum cleaner/wash/prepolish and many other products that we use in our Airstream restorations. We would be happy to send anyone a catalog that is interested. And a fantastic rust inhibitor (for frames), just use their cleaner and their paint and the rust won't come back!
Sounds like the sink in these motorhomes is stainless steel which is then finished with some type of coating, which is now chipping and pealing. Unfortunately the Por 15 won't have anything good to "stick" to unless the old finish is complely removed. The picture from the previous post shows an enamel sink being refinished, Por 15 would work fine in that situation. And yes, the Por 15 products are great. I used their stripper to remove my clearcoat and have the products to refinish my frame. Good stuff, but not right for this sink.

I got a two part epoxy enamel at my hardware store. 30 $ + 8 $ for the cleaner...and a brand new brush to do a decent job. I hope it will last. We always use a rubber mat in the sink...
I used sandpaper. The bottom of the sink is pretty much cleared of paint. I intend to clear the whole bottom so the transition to the sides, when I refinish it will not show too much. I hope to do as nice a job as that red sink!
