Question Potty Talk (Toilet Choices)

In the 1970 era trailers where the toilet sits on the floor. Not up on a riser box.
What are my options for new toilet?
Why do some like the porcelain ones? I mean you don't touch the porcelain with your hiney do you? What is the appeal? do they flush better? Less odor? Or is it just a status thing?
Do they have the double flush pedals or levers?

How many choices are there and what do you all consider the best and worst and why please?
And will ALL replacement Toilets fit in our trailers?
