Possible to unclog Alsons shower head?

The shower in my '06 International seems to only have about seven of the holes allowing water to pass through. I assume it's clogged somehow, but the head itself doesn't appear to be easily serviceable. Is it possible to take it apart (and put it back together again) or does the whole wand need to be replaced?

It appears to be an older model of the Alsons 462 PB.

It might be that the holes have clogged due to mineral deposits. You could simply try soaking the shower head in vinegar overnight. The vinegar will dissolve the deposits and the holes will be open again.

If the calcium and lime is really bad, you can try CLR Cal/Rust/Lime Remover. I have had terrific results with it over the years.

It was much easier to go to Lowes and replace mine -I believe mine was original. Take care.
