Painting area around toilet

Im replacing my toilet in our 1980 International. I've thought about painting where the toilet sits, the lavatory and shower. Is it possible to paint it and the paint hold up? Could anyone tell me what type of paint to use?

thank you,
Stan M

If you're talking about the walls.... use Sherwin-Williams Bonding primer first. Whatever you paint over it will bond really well.

Im actually talking about the shower and lavatory. They seem to be made of a hard plastic.

Tough As Tile 2-part Epoxy

I've had success twice with Tough as Tile paint, available at Lowe's for about $25.

Do a search and you'll find more than you wanted to know about bathroom refinishing.

Following the preparation instructions is the key to success.
