Paint for Shower walls?

Well, it's finally getting warm enough for us to start thinking of starting the bathroom refresh on our 93 Excella in preparation for this year's camping adventures. We plan to swap out the toilet for a newer style and to refinish the shower pan and sink using POR 15 Whitecoat (same as Balgrn). I would also like to paint out the bathroom as it's pink/blue/purple flowered wall covering (standard in the early 90s Airstreams) is not my style. This wall covering also makes up the walls of the shower enclosure so I need something that will hold up to water/dampness and to frequent cleanings. Oh, and of course I want a professional looking finish. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Do a search on forum member Pizzachop's posts. He sprayed all his bathroom surfaces with space age paint, and they turned out great.

Found the posts, thanks!

Pizzachop used Tough as Tile paint. I'll check it out, hopefully it can be used on the walls.

Thanks for the help!

Painting Walls

Funny that my wife, who was looking for ideas on how to paint the flowery wallpaper in our "new" '73 Sovereign shower should come across this post referring to me as some type of reference (thanks Tom).

The "Tough As Tile" worked great on the sink and tub but we never tried it on the walls.

We're about to do it again here (although much smaller as it is a center bath) and we may try it on the wall this time.

So what did you decide?

p.s. - We may take you up on that courtesy parking for a night next spring when do the New England tour.

Post Come on down!

We've got full hookups available and New Boston is a beautiful small New England town.

As for the paint for my bathroom walls we are going with Krylon Fusion paint. This work should be done in the next couple of weekends and I will let folks know how it looks and of course even more important how it wears over time.
