no hot water in shower

A newbie question...We have a 2007 Classic 27 FB with lots of hot water in the kitchen and bathroom sinks but only luke warm water in our shower.
Since we are on a nine week trip, we'd love to get some advice.
Please help us get some heat!
Thanks,
Susand

hi susand

there appears to be 2-3 options for the problem and an equal # of solutions...

-the mixer valve IN/behind the shower handle...

-the bypass valve may not be fully open...

-and there is always the possibllity of debris in the hot water line at the shower...

here are some places to read,

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f365...wer-29685.html

2003 safari 25'SS Moen shower valve stem problems

and don't forget the moen manuals online or IN your 'streamer packets...

once your problem is sorted out and the hot stuff is flowing,

be sure to followup here with the problem and fix...

don't leave us hanging in the tepid zone!

cheers

Hi, Thanks 2air. I was trying to find what I wrote on this subject. Susand, click on 2air's third link and go to post #7 to read how I fixed mine.

Just to add to this I took my AS 25' Safari out of storage to make a 3 day trip and the same thing happened to mine as happened to a lot of others. Needless to say the closest parts were in Nashville, 80 miles away. The AS dealer here in town didn't have the Moen valve to fix it so a quick call to Moen's tech support line and I had the stem insert and two clips overnight for less than $14.00. It took me 10 minutes to replace the valve and the RV is back in business again. It would appear that sediment from the fresh water tank was the culprit as there was debris in the aerator that reduced the flow at the bathroom sink as well.

Blowing air through the system didn't fix the issue.

The Shower Faucet is a Delta with a scold guard protection built in. It can be adjusted so the temperature can be higher.
