I finally got around to removing the cartridge and cleaning it. Turned out it was silicon lube build up around the cartridge from the factory assembly lubing the o-rings excessivly. I guess sitting unused for a while just caused it to goop up. Just a wipe down of the internal doohickey and reinstall and it's working fine. First time I was following instructions...Next time it will be a 10 min job.
