New Toilet

I very recently purchased a 1976 25' Land Yacht Trade Wind with a broken toilet. The toilet is a Thetford Aqua Magic GL. The local trailer parts store said that this model had been replaced by a Thetford Bravura, however, the Bravura is too long and prevents me from opening the storage cabinet in the bathroom. Does anyone have the name of a more appropriate toilet for this trailer or any other suggestions? Thanks.

Look into Sealand we put one in our 23' 1970 amd really like it better than the old Thetford. It is a china bowl and flushes a lot better.

Before you buy...

You may want to take measurements if you are concerned about the fit near that cabinet. If I recall, Sealand has measurements on their website for the different models.
Good luck,
Dave

Good idea. I took measurements but I will check on line first.

One more question. Do you know if the mounting bolts are aligned the same on both models?

I had to buy a "Universal adapter", not too expensive and available at the local RV store. Don't distort the metal ring under the toilet when you take things apart.
Dave
On edit: the metal ring I refer to is part of the base, not part of the toilet.
