New shower stall

When we got our AS one of the things we knew we wanted was a separate shower, no more wet bath. So we lost the closet, got rid of the univolt and installed a inverter under the bed. And this is what we ended up with I think it came out great. It has lots of room, fits 2 comfortably or one very large person and the shower curtain will not stick to you!

The rod is curved and entends out about 10 inches further than the shower pan. I used tiny zip ties instead of shower hooks and put velco on both edges and the wall so that it fits nice and tight and no shower spray anywhere except in the shower.

Great job. What are your walls made of on the curved sides? I'm wondering you keep the water out of the sides.

Wow! Great job! What did you use for a shower rod? Is that real tile on the floor?
Can you post other pics of the bathroom... I like the sink.

The top is the plastic endcap and the bottom is FRP board,(fiberglass reinforced panels from Home depot.

I used the same stuff that they used for the curved drapery rod on the front window and the same little drapery carriers. I got it from Out Of Door Mart. Yeh, It's real tile we'll see how long it lasts before it pops off, Hubby's real sure it's not gonna, but I'm not so convinced. I'll take more picture tomorrow. I hard to get good pictures in such a small space.


Aage, No didn't use the original shower head, It's a new one.
