Hi - Can you post a photo of the set up you have now - someone may be able to come up with a solution for you then.

Lightbulb The Hard Way

I had a similar problem with the shower but reversed from your situation.
The fixture on the tub was leaking beyond repair so I picked up what I thought was a close replacement. After replacing the leaking faucet the original hose to the shower head wouldnít fit. I definitely wanted to keep the vintage sprayer in place.
I took both pieces to the hardware store and matched each one up on the board that displays all the different adapters. Try every fitting you can find. Maybe youíll get lucky. I didnít.
My solution was to buy the two that fit the faucet and hose, cut off the threads that didnít fit, and silver soldered the two together.
While I faced the treads off with a lathe, careful work with a saw and file should work fine. The brass fittings solder easily with a small torch.
Well, now that Iíve given you the hard way to do this someone will probably post a direct replacement part number, price and ordering info.

Good luck,
Tom.
