need new bath sink faucet

Does anyone know where (or if) I can get a modern faucet replacement for the one in my 69 Caravel? It has the hand shower diverter attached to the back of the faucet and is in pretty sad shape. Or is there any other way to have the handshower separate from the faucet?

thanks so much
Krista

Hello,

Not sure if these folks will have what you want... but they have an interesting selection for vintage homes. Many times the hand shower/faucet is seperate and folks have used the kind that work on claw foot tubs. Anyway take a look at their website: Van Kyke's Restorers at www.vandykes.com

Also might try a search in the search box on the blue toolbar... I know others have asked similar questions and have other answers.

Hello KHarris,

On our 60 trdwnd we replaced the old bad tub faucet shower diverter,we
went with the phoenix brand RV faucet with the shower diverter .The
RV spacing is usually 3 3/8 between the water inlets hot and cold .most
home setups are on 4" centers I think ,wider for sure. Most RV faucets for the tub are the 3 3/8 center ,cannot say thats a rule though. It looks great and
functions great and the shower diverter works great also. Now all Ive said
is fine unless you have the faucet only /diverter no tub ,I think phoenix also
offers those without the tub outlet. Most Rv stores have them or have them in their catalog.

Great suggestions!

Thank you for the ideas, I'm looking up VanDyke's now and am researching the Phoenix models as well. Our caravel has the sink only, no tub. We haven't removed the old faucet yet, so that will be the next step, to check the center spread.
