Hey TMT, The sink/countertop in my 74 Sov was melted by a PO torching on some plumbing. I've replumbed the WHOLE trailer, and in replacing the sink/countertop I wanted something nicer than the plastic thing that was in there. I cut a piece of 3/4 inch ply for the countertop. and will cover it with laminate when I get back to finishing the bathroom in a couple of weeks... I bought a stainless steel mixing bowl at a restaurant supply house for the sink basin, popped an 1 1/4" hole in the bottom, and bought a slick brushed nickel faucet for it. Picture of it here in post #37...

before the laminate is installed. Main hold up on the laminate is finding the color I want... and major shoulder surgery, but that's another story. Best to you on your countertop and sink. Post up pictures when you get her done.

Just noticed, post #41 has a picture of the plywood countertop installed in the bathroom...
