Need help figuring out how this works

My AS is a 1967 Caravel that I am working on diligently.
I have an Aqua Magic toilet and I am trying to figure out what that little white thing that sits right behind the seat and lid does. I got the water line fixed to the toilet and have a line that come out from the toilet that sprays the waste down to the black tank. Just can't figure out what the other thing does...or how and why anything would attach to it.

Hey Gary,
Might be one of those lid activated music boxes the plays "singing in the rain".
I replaced a very attractive yellow aqua magic toilet in our renovation. It's yours (hardly been used) if you'd like it. Feel free to swing by any time.

Thanks Tim for the offer, but Wisconsin is just a bit far for me to drive!

I'll see if I can get mine to play singing in the rain too, but until then any other advice is appreciated!

Can you post a picture showing where it goes sitting in place as well as the area it goes into without it in place.

I'm leaning toward vacuum break assembly. Possibly incorporated into a water directing assembly.

Do you know what model aqua magic.

Wild uneducated guess.... is it a vacuum breaker?

My guess is the original water line went into one side, the other side goes to the toilet and the center goes to the lady thing washer (bidet) that used to be next to the toilet - Ed.

that is were you connect a sink sprayer and I bet theres a clamp on the wall to hold it.
