Need help

What is the distance from the wall to the toilet flange?

I rearranged the floor plan from a rear bath to a center bath. I'm putting in new tanks and don't want to cut a flange in the wrong place

Help is very appreciated.

I can go measure in our 86 and 89 excellas if that would help, but they're a different era from yours. Let me know if it would help!

That would be great. Since its a new overhaul with new tanks it will probably be the same. I'm getting a new toilet also.

Thanks

Install Drawings usually come in the box with new toilet. Gets tricky when toilet is at an angle to the wall for clearance for the knees.....

Also check the toilet company website as that installation information is usually there as well.

From the outside wall in the center bath, the CENTER or the toilet flange is 27". From the wall behind it is 11.5", and from the interior wall (where the door to the bathroom is, the hall wall) to the center of the flange is 12". These measurements are from our 86 since the toilet and vanity are currently out.

Which wall does the back of the toilet rest? Is it the 11.5 measurement?

Thank you

Before you cut decide which toilet you wish to use as there are differences in size. The manuf. usually has diagrams on their web site.

Where you have the toilet matters.....watch the wall curvature so the lid and your "lid" will clear the wall/ceiling.

Great advice. I've moved the floorplan from a rear bath to center bath. The tanks are being moved near/ under the axles. The sink/counter will be over the wheel wells and the toilet next to the wall closest to the center of the trailer. I'll research toilets for the one we most like. Suggestions on a awesome toilet?

I'll try and post the layout of the floorplan.Click image for larger version

Try one of those taller porcelain bowl designs. They look a whole lot better than plastic and are much easier to keep clean. I installed the Dometic 310 and the spouse loves it. If you have the room for the oval bowl and prefer a wood seat - consider the 320.
