What about a bidet? Can I justify the extra weight? 😜

The pie slice tank I ruled out because at 27" at the flat sides, it came out too far forward, way past where shower pan starts. Pic below is measured flush from back wall.

Tank wouldn't be flush to back wall because pex or copper lines will run behind it, so in reality, tank would be an inch or two further out than pictured.

More pics to demonstrate measurements.

I put the old shower pan back in original position temporarily to check fit and measure how much I have to build up platform. Boy this is tight! (mental note: lose 20 lbs before maiden voyage):

Need a wee weewee-er.

Ladyfern, below is a link to my related bathroom post, in case you are wondering what the heck I am up to with choosing the new, wider ( or longer?) black tank.
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f444/tank-design-will-this-work-126648.html

Since the black tank runs a little bit under the wall, I thought I would sacrifice the kitchen drawer that sits between the refrigerator and the floor, and let the black water tank, and new grey water tank, take up the drawer space. I saved the drawer front to reinstall, so that it still looks original from the outside.

Grayling, I read the entire related post. And now I am questioning my sanity in getting involved with this Bambi-business. My poor aching head. If you put the gray tank where the little drawer was beneath the refrigerator, I have to assume your refrig is usable. At the moment, mine isn't and the refrigerators I've found that are similar in size are taller and I was thinking I would have to sacrifice the drawer for refrigeration. (I've written numerous times to folks who have my model refrigs listed for sale and none have ever answered altho their postings are still up. What's with that?) As I'm a ways behind you on this whole project, please keep posting. I may try to follow in your footsteps altho I may decide to veer off and "stay original" and keep it minimal. Decisions, decisions. Thank you!

In the process of renting a large enclosed storage garage. Then I can really get into it! I'll need all the "force" I can muster!
