Natures head with urine diversion install: 310 motorhome

Posting up my install in pictures here

Guess I didn't get a good "before" picture that I can find, first picture is the old toilet and false floor/wall removed, showing the black tank (it sits half above and half below the floor)

Second picture is the black tank after modification

Third picture is a close up of the plug, I drilled a hole sized so the pipe fitting would thread in, then sealed with 3m marine epoxy (I am not a plumber, open to suggestions)

And the new false floor

More marine epoxy (I am not a plumber)

Mostly finished with the construction, still finishing work to do. Need to spend a day with the sheet metal tools, and a flooring install if the whole airstream is planned

The vent pipe for the black tank needs extended, will be doing that plumbing as part of the washer dryer install

I also replaced my dump valves and plumbing when doing this. A third twist-on dump valve at the outlet allows the tanks to be shared, since urine volume is small, effectively adding grey tank space

Another finishing touch, a support bracket to help stabilize things now that the front bucket is gone
Highly recommended, as without the bucket it was a bit wobbly

Nice install. Another option for bracing if you want a facia covering the diverter tubing is to reverse the urine bin. A little more tricky to reach the lever valve if using one although there is a gap you can see to reach underneath. I used a furniture leg under the upside down urine holder for additional front support.

Simple and it looks good!
I still plan to install the bucket upside down for looks, though I wasn't sure how well it would support so i went with the total overkill bracket

You'll have a very secure setup for sure!
