My Toilet wobbles, whats the fix?

My Argosy toilet has the above floor tank, and the toilet mounted to it. There is only some thin cardboard between tank and toilet which does not support it. How did you fix yours?

Build a plywood 'porch' for the toilet. A cleat on the wall for support there and a plywood piece in front for support. Having the toilet rest on the black tank will break the black tank top sooner or later. The closet flange rests on the plywood and the toilet bolts to the flange.

That sounds good, what thickness of plywood? I am installing a new low boy toilet which is going to create other issues regarding rear wall clearance, so I will rebuild the area.

For a supersized, grain-fed, owner or guest on a high-fiber diet, I would use 3/4 for a firm ride.
But you can get by with 1/2.

Ok, thanks for the help. I am going to remove the thin paneling that runs from tub to under the cabinet, then install one piece of 3/4 plywood from tub to cabinet, and use cabinet shelf for cabinet floor. I just need to figure out where to place the hole for the flange.

I used the original board for a template.
By the way. The toilet flange screws into the top of the tank. You will need some kind of spanner wrench to remove. I made my own.
I built a box on all sides of the tank and under the vanity out of 3/4" plywood. Very sturdy.

I looked at the picture of your bath, looks good. Does the toilet touch the shelf at the top, or did you have to trim the shelf?

The toilet is Aqua 5. It does not touch the "secret" compartment above and behind the toilet.
I did remove the door to that compartment, because it was padded, the toilet lid would not stay up. Not a big deal. That compartment doesn't have room for much.
