Mike,
My shower pan and vanity is
sitting in my garage awaiting prep for 2-part epoxy paint. I just mended the shower pan today with a $12 fiberglass kit (easy to use, just follow the instructions)
(Note 1"x2" braces on shower pan to keep from flexing. Also have support behind it at all times)
We will apply the $25 Tough As Tile 2-part epoxy within the next day or two. Then we will put the bathroom back together (after I run new plumbing, after I put in rear floor, after I finish frame, etc.)
(I know this drill because I did it once before last year on my rear bath Overlander
see pics)
A fiberglass pan would be nice if you've got the $$ but if you're willing to put some effort into it, you can get a really nice finish rather inexpensively.
(Note-Paint can be brushed but
spraying works better)
