I have a leak! Toilet..

It is a random leak. Only has happened twice. But a huge pain. I can see the water coming out of the black top cylinder thingy, right behind the lid while filling or flushing. It looks like black rubber grommet...The shop cannot duplicate it. So they can't get airstream to pay for replacing or fixing it. Is there a reason it would be so random? Is there a way to duplicate it?

When it leaks we have to live with a towel behind the potty the whole trip.

Thank you,
Shane

I'm not a potty tech, but just had my Aquajet unbolted to clear some crud out of the water flush mechanism in back and noticed that there is some kind of pressure relief valve at the top. It has a hole with black rubber grommet underneath. It would release water when hooked to the hose under pressure. Perhaps yours is leaking under abnormal pressures?
