I am doing a frame off restoration of a
1963 Bambi. ( above the frame black water tank, and no grey water tank)
Getting ready to insulate the floor, and put the belly pan on. And want to make sure I have a plan for the sewer system, before I get to far into buttoning up the floor
I need to check the old belly pan, but I think there is an access panel so I can get at it later if I need to, but it is easier to work on with the frame flipped over now. The dump valve I took out is a thetford model 10447, but I understand many models had that designation
How do I assess the dump valve to see if it is worth putting back in? Not sure if it is the original
1963, or if it has already been replaced during it's life time. When they fail, is there a common problem? What do I look at to see if I may was well just bit the bullet and buy new?
