Help! Toilet flange '71 Tradewind

I'm replacing the old square toilet with a new one. The flange bolts need to be at 3 and 6 o'clock and the old ones are at 11 and 5 ish. I read that these screw on. I removed the screws and cannot get the flange to budge. Photo of flange attached.
Also the floor around the toilet flange is, of course swollen and weak. I'm going to have to replace this but it's not in the cards for the moment. I need to travel in a few days. I'm hoping the new position will help.
All help appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Ben

I ended up taking an end mill in a drill and making my own new T slots, and a countersink to create more locations for screws. It worked out fine but the floor is still weak. Much improvement, however.

Had the same issue with the replacement toilet on my 1980 caravelle. I took the screws out of the flange rotated it to where the slots needed to be then drilled new holes and put the screws in. Works like a charm.

My flange would not rotate. I tried hammering on it, too.

I had a tough time getting the flange loose when I redid my Trade Wind. I made a spanner wrench "tool" out of some scrap steel. The spanner had fingers that fit into the slots on the flange 180 degrees apart and that gave me the grip I needed to apply enough torque for it to unscrew. It will unscrew but not without a fight.

I replaced on my 89 Excella. It does screw off. Quick floor reinforcement: buy a cheap: 10" saw blade; cut out hole for toilet drain and bolt holes in flange; the steel is very rigid and provides the extra support needed for old floors. Did mine 6 yrs ago. Still supporting the throne!

That's a great idea. I guess I'll give that a try before I replace the floor.
I put the end if a large crescent wrench in a slot and then hit that with a hammer, no budging. I'll have to try making a wrench as suggested by 68 Twind.
For now though I think I'm "in high cotton" as they say.

I picked up a Thetford Aqua magic V low profile from PPL in Houston.
