Help! Having troubles removing my toilet!

Hello! I am new to the Airstream world. I have a 76/31' Excella. I apologize if this is a repeat. I am having troubles with my toilet. It's is not flushing so well and I have a leak in the rear! (HAHA) I feel I should remove the toilet - maybe replace the seals - but should I just start over and go with a new toilet?

Thanks so much for all the help!

Heidi

Locate the leak and then decide. It could be as simple as a loose hose. Is the leak occur only when you flush or fill the bowl or does it leak all the time?

To my knowledge there is a vacum breaker in back that the seals fail causing leaks, 1976 toilets are difficult to remove, better off to pur. Thetford Aqua magic low profile pur. from camping world other suppliers should have as well Bill [featherbeder] 1976 31! A.S.

Also, there is a thread of owners installing Dometic 310. It is a china one for RV's and mounts up to existing 2 bolt flange. PPL Motorhomes has them right now for $130 + ship. I'm thinking about one as well. Be sure to check the size, it is a little taller, may not work in some bathrooms.
