Faucet valve repair?

I have a 77 soverign I just purchased. Both kitchen and bath faucets leak. The valves do not come out of the faucet base in the usual manner. Does anyone know how to replace valves? Do I need to replace faucets? How difficult is it to replace faucets? Thanks.

Are they the OEM faucets? If not, what brand and model are they?

Please post the info requested about your taps that leak? If you can't see a name on them, just put up some photos. If you need help posting photos, just ask.

I replaced the cartridge inside part of our Moen for free. Yep, Moen gives a lifetime guarantee and they gave me that cartridge and a little tool needed to help get the old cartridge out. That was at a Home Depot, by the way.

But maybe you have a Moen, and maybe you don't. The person that requested the info is very experienced in things Airstream, and can probably help you with whatever you need to do.

Best regards,

Aage

Hi, I believe the kitchen faucet is Moen. The bath had no label; I am pretty sure all is original.

The kitchen faucet in my 77 is a Moen and the original bathroom sink and shower faucets are Delta. The Delta rebuild kits are readily available at the hardware store and buy some plumbers grease as well.
