Elkay kitchen Fawcett

Does anyone know how to install the curve handle on a the elkay kitchen fawcett? Ours fell off during traveling . Looks like it was held in place with a sheet metal screw. The comes up from under the rotating hot/cold selector mechanism. We have a 2012 international ccd.

Sucess...figured it out. Removed the little plastic red/blue piece from the front of the fawcett and using a light I could see a set screw. After loosening this screw the head of the fawcett lifted off and I was able to access the Philip head sheet metal that holds the cruved handle in place. Put it all back together and we are good to go. Sorry no pics as we are on the road.

I suggest going to the Elkay website, find your faucet model (or one close to it), and under "View Product Details" select "Installation Instructions. The picture below is an example of what can be found in those instructions.

PS The solution was posted while I was working on this.

Thanks for replying to our post. The diagram included with our Airsteam manuals did not show the alan screw or the sheet metal srcew for the handle. Since I'm not one to leave things go I just kept playing and looking at the darn thing till I figured it out.
Thanks again for your input.

Thanks for that post. Perfect timing. The little curved part fell off last night and I was just about to start on it when I did a search and found this post. Ain't technology grand?

And by the way, did you know that a drop of fingernail polish works just about as well as any commercial thread locking compound I ever used? And easy to come by.
