Clean Potty

Can someone please recommend a safe product for cleaning my potty? The owners manual is not much help, other than saying not to use anything harsh (?).

Thanks.

We use baking soda ... works great. We also bought a can of Bon Ami ... haven't used it yet ... but they say it won't scratch.

While traveling, one of the best ways to "keep it clean"...is to make freq use of the restroom located at rest-stops and, of course, at the campgrounds~
"You'd be leaving the cleaning chores to someone else." KWIM?
In any event, I would never put any chemicals down the drain.
I clean mine with warm to hot water, followed by brushing, followed by a quick water risen.
Always clean brush with a dip in Clorox.
Just think of it like you would your own septic system at home.
This method has worked well for me for the last 5 years~I've never had a septic odor from the holding tanks either~

As I mentioned in another post, wax the inside of the toilet bowl or use race glaze, which
works even better. All your waste just glides down without sticking!

Dow bathroom spray ("Scrubbing Bubbles" is the TV ad)is a good surface product also. No scratch foam.

I use "GelGloss" from Lowes. It does a good job of waxing the inside. I use it on the Corian counter tops and in the shower. Lime stains come off easy.
