China Toilet

I have a 27 International FB with a plastic toilet.
Is there a full size toilet with a china bowl that will fit into this unit?
Thanks

That is a wonderful idea but could this end-up a weight issue?

From the same place, there are the SeaLand versions:

The Traveler
SeaLand Toilet - PPL Motor Homes

and the Traveler Lite
Dometic - PPL Motor Homes

The Traveler Lite has a flimsy seat and lid. I went with the regular Traveler in my Excella and am glad.

By the way, I've been very pleased with my dealings with PPL.

VTS also sells the Sealand Traveler (as well as a a couple of others)...we have one in our '56 Safari - we like it as much as you can "like" a toilet.

Only time I would worry about that (and I don't) would be in a 1970-80's vintage 31' with the rear bath. FWIW I have two of them and plan on putting the china throne in my 1975.

We are contemplating a new china toilet in our 06 Bambi. From what I've read they are pretty light-weight and it makes a nice improvement. We're thinking it's a great investment.

Our 2012 model will have a porcelain toilet. Not sure of they are putting them in all the AS's or just larger ones.

I was surprised because Im thinking it would weigh a lot more but our salesman said it's not very heavy.

How difficult is it to change out the plastic for the china. I've replaced many residential toilets; is it similar?

It's not difficult at all. My suggestion is to incorporate a flexible supply line, so if you should change to a different model in the future, the task will be even easier.
