Black water tank
I'm having some trouble figuring out if there should be a space between the top of the bw tank and the bottom of the plywood above it. Is it acceptable for the plywood to rest directly on the tank?
question 2: how do I reset my password? thank you and may you win many rivets

Normally, the black and gray water tanks rest against the bottom of the floor.

A thin sheet of styrofoam would be a good idea between the top of the black tank the any wood. That will keep the tank from getting damaged by the plywood.
Go to your user cp, click email and password, and follow the prompts.

May have worn packing!
A possible reason may be the deterioration of the interior foam used to shield the tank in the box. My trailer, a '68 GT didn't even have strap support, just the box and surrounding foam. So as the box bottom rusted away, the foam dropped and the tank may have gapped. Yes, the tank sits right under the plywood flooring. See the 1968 Globetrotter forum for some photos. I replaced my floor last year with a new toilet also. Good luck.

Go to User CP and look on the left side. Scroll down to Edit Email and Password. You can reset it there.

I bought two flanges at Texas RV Supply in San Antonio. The manager there told me there were two lengths so he advised me to take them both and return the one I did not need. The short one did not reach, it was about 1/2" short like yours; it was part number 20050. The correct flange was part number 20814. Mine is a '73 Overlander rear bath and the tank is right below the floor.
