So you are saying stick with the Thetford and replace the valve if I can find a replacement valve and do not try to rebuild my original one? Don't go to the Valterra?

TG Twinkie, no, i can't see the valve from a trunk. The handle is in the bumper compartment. We can almost see the valve by looking down into the Toilet. We can see it move in and out, but didn't know it leaked so bad until our 2nd outing when we were boondocking. Our first outing we had full hook up and never noticed any back flow into the shower. We learn something new every outing :-0.

Hey awolff
Order the bathtub stopper from VTS it keeps the brown trout from swimming in the shower.

Hi Andy, I went to your INland RV site and there are a couple that seem to look like they would work. Do you know which one I should get? I'd like one with a handle, so it looks like it's between the 17028 or the 17200 with "Collector"...looks like the collector is where the shower pipe (GW) connects in for our '66 caravel, right?

Or both, the information is a little confusing...

Then there's another valve 17052, don't know the difference between that and the 17028. Please advise, thanks very much!
