Best RV toilet? IMO, the simplest one.
Step on a lever and the "stuff" falls into the black tank.
A bonus would be a tall one with a decent sized seat.
My current AS has this magic toilet where the pipe makes six 90 degree bends before reaching the black tank, some going up!
I've avoided it like the plague.
Is that why it comes back up? I couldn’t understand it! It’s gross. I thought it was the fault of their button flushing system.
I was just looking on the Dometic website. I think our toilet is the Masterflush. The looks and description seem correct. I don’t understand how the macerate works, but black water constantly comes back up. I have to flush two or three times. And it costs over $2,000!
Replaced the little plastic toilet in our Bambi. I wanted the elongated bowl but it would not clear the back wall (rough-in dimension). The biggest and best I could fit is the Thetford Style II. It is larger and has a porcelain bowl. But I can't locate a connector hose with 1/2" sharkbite straight stop x 1/2" FPT that is 12 or 16 in. long. For some reason they only make angle stop hoses that short, straight stops start at 20" and go up from there. WTF am I supposed to do with all that extra hose? Guess I will need to buy a separate valve and hose, one more place to leak...

Since you quoted me, I thought I'd mention that mine has never backed up. Maybe it's because I only use mine for liquids, but it's been totally reliable for that.
My next Airstream will have the reliable old gravity fed system where the black tank is under the toilet. "Push/plop"
