My toilet wabbles when I sit on it. I know there is at least 20 jokes to be had in that statement. The toilet seems fixed to the tank... it is like the top of the fiberglass tank has some bounce or spring in it. Should I be worried? Do I need to re-enforce the top somehow? I really like the old style of the toilet and would hate to have to change it.

In an effort to be helpful I'll add that my toilet wobbled a bit until I had a friend install a new one for me. I think he said there was a broken bolt he replaced, but I don't remember for sure. Either way, it's much more solid now, though it's still got a little bit of flex to it. It's only supported by the fiberglass bathroom insert and the tank itself, so there's bound to be a little flex.

The tile is an illusion, it is viynal. I have not ripped it up yet to see if there is a subfloor on top of the tank. I just worry about flexing the fiberglass tank itself and cracking it. I have not officially begun work on Anna yet (long story... promised the wife I would finish something else first, an addition to the house). I sat down on the throne will day dreaming yesterday and that is when I found the situation.

This is the not so fun part of the trailer restoration. Get some protective gloves, remove the toilet and get in there to see what you can see. If you replace the old plywood go with 3/4" marine plywood. This made the throne in the 60 18 footer very sound. I have the same type of setup you have I think.

The first six months of our marriage we lived in an apartment complex on the second floor. Our toilet did the same thing AND the floor had a bit of lean to it. I often had visions of myself and the potty falling through a rotten floor on top of the little old lady that lived below us while she sat on her potty, both of us in a less than flattering situation.
I will tear in there as soon as I finish the things I promised my wife. Hopefully we don't fall through onto our neighbors head....
I was able to find out (totally by chance...doing the "search" everyone is always saying to do first) that the PO was a forum member. She posted some threads about the black tank valve,I know that they messed in that area. Hopefully I won't find too many surprises when I go in. The repairs that they did are not the best... like silcone to hold in replaced windows... so I worry about what other improper repairs were made. Thank you for the input, time to go work on that addition so I can get to work on Anna asap.
Mine wobbled as well. I took it to the dealer and rather than fix the cause they put a wedge under the base. Tighten the two side bolts and the two screws in the back at the base. Then reach around back about half way up and tighten the screw clamp. This latter proved to be our issue.
