Bathroom sink replacement

We are the second owners and the PO let the trailer sit unused for about a year. As a result, the lavatory "stainless"sink was severely spotted/corroded. In the beginning I spent two days polishing it out, but it has remained prone to spotting, as has the lavatory faucet. Not so for the galley. I thought the Lavatory sink was probably an import, although I am not sure.
So on our last trip I did some internet surfing and found some Kohler stuff that I thought would work and is more in keeping with the Serenity décor. I measured the old sink in place and I thought the Kohler sink would just drop in: not so, of course. I had to do some trimming with a sabre saw. Then I discovered that Airstream uses 1 1/2 inch drain piping where everyone else uses 1 1/4 in a lavatory. Fortunately I found a P-trap at Lowe's that accepted 1 1/4 inlet and 1 1/2 outlet. Not too demanding as projects go and I really like the new look!

Thanks, what I really like is that it better works with the Serenity décor; I think my wife's penchant for decorating has rubbed off a bit.

They stopped making it, but they do make one just slightly larger. Go to the Kohler catalog and you will need to look at their smallest round sink.

This would be the closest to what I installed: https://www.us.kohler.com/us/iron-pl...randId=1037150
