Argosy lav sink reconfiguration?

I need ideas.....

We are considering replacing the bathroom sink and supporting cabinet in our 77 minuet. The existing one is intact and works but.... takes up too much space. It almost touches the toilet. The goal is to make it narrower by about 3 inches, to get more room around the toilet. The existing sink is molded plastic (?) and part of the countertop. The current counter top measures 17.5" wide X 16" deep with the sink being about 13 X 9. The cabinet has a tambour door that is mounted verticaly and we may be able to reuse that in a new cabinet...

Has anyone else done this?

Any good ideas for suppliers of tiny sinks?

Any success stories?

Janet, what about a sink made for a corner? Another possibility
would be Corian. You can work corian into any shape you want.

Bath sink

Hi Janet
I replaced my sink with a bar sink (Oval) and gained a lot of room. I built my counter out of plywood and formica to match the kitchen counters. My trailer is all silver and black inside, due too my black German Shepard.
Let your creativity roam.
Good luck.

Call me crazy but you could eliminate the sink. That would leave room for a magazine rack (But maybe a guys priorities are different). I'm betting that within 2 steps of that sink there is another one.

Just thinking outside the box,

Steve

We've actually considered just scrapping the sink.... but just aren't ready to go there. Reconfiguring the bath to have just a toilet and shower makes sense - more room for both, but I think we want a sink.... afterall - it's useful for filling with ice and chilling drinks

Don - do you any pics of your redo?

Anyone tried polystone?

I was looking around the other day for something similar for my bathroom and found the website for Polystone Creations. They have the cutest little sink I've ever seen. Don't have any idea what the pricetag is on this, but it sure looks nice.

I can't get the hyperlink function to work for messages, but here is the address:

That sure is a neat little sink.
I can think of a number of ideas for it in my Minuet!
Good find!
