Aqua Magic Toilet - 68 Globe Trotter

I removed the toilet which seems in very good condition only to find the plastic base housing which it sits on and attaches to the floor via the ring screwed to the floor cracked.

Aside from the value of keeping things original, is there anything "special" about the Aqua Magic which would warrant me trying to find another base? Or has technology changed enough for me to just but another toilet?

Are these plastic bases kind of universal? If I wanted one my guess would be I couldn't find the part. (hope I am wrong).

I am obviously clueless but having more fun than I can remember. Thanks seasoned friends for helping me.
