The Natures Head separates the wet waste from the dry. We empty to pee bucket every three or four days depending on the beer budget! The compost bin under full time use goes six weeks or more, and we empty it in a number of creative ways depending on where we are. It can go down a camp toilet. It can go in the woods. It can go into somebody's compost pile if it is not for vegetable gardening. Or worst case scenario it can go in a dumpster. When it comes out, it is just very rich peat moss with no discernible odor.

Now ... as a reference ... how often do you use your trailer? Any other helpful hints would be welcome as I am considering this for my trailer. Days per week/month of trailer camping use, I mean ...

We are full timers, but I think the toilet would work well either way. As a matter of fact, the longer you leave things in there, and as long as you keep the fan running and keep stirring occasionally, the more they compost. You can also call Larry at Natures Head, he is full of good info. Tell him John & Kate sent you!
