ABS to PVC transition cement

I've had a hard time finding ABS fittings to finish our plumbing for the BT and grey water piping. While talking to a local plumber he suggested using PVC/ABS 'green can' Oatey transition glue, which is made for cementing this two dissimilar types together. Sounds good as I can get 'white' pipe and elbows at any big box store. BUT before I embark on this I thought I'd run it past you plumbers out there and see if , in fact this is usable in RVs... Any one used this before?

I haven't used that specific cement but oatney has several labeled ok for both the black and white (ABS and PVC). I have intermixed colors in my sewage fittings with no problem.
It should be available at any corner hardware store.
