'79 Sovereign rear bath dripping water underneath!!
Need Help! I have what I am pretty sure is a fresh water leak that is dripping from the bottom of the drivers rear aft bumper. I crawled under the trailer and removed the sheet metal access and felt between the black water tank and the bottom and it is wet. I have checked the sink and shower and all the grey water lines and everything is dry. All fittings seem to be tight and dry. How do i get to the toilet connections? Inside the trailer is dry. When I shut off the city water the dripping stops. Pretty sure the obvious is right in front of me but cant see the forest for all of the trees>>. Thanks in advance. AL

You have a winterizing valve open near the regulator
or
the pop off is stuck open
or
you have a broken fresh water pipe.
The fresh water tank is in the center if it's like mine.

The 111 high pressure pop off valve is leaking.
Replacing it solves the issue.

After looking at the service manual and where the water is dripping, the relief valve must be the problem. So how do you get to that puppy?? Through the aft access door or from underneath? Is this an AS specific valve and if so am I damaging anything continuing to have water connected to the trailer while waiting for the part to arrive?

The dipping water problem, won't hurt anything associated with the trailer.

pop off picture
It might be stuck open or have a crumb in the seal.
It's easily taken apart and cleaned.

Maybe you don't have one. Did you visually track you water lines all the way to the water heater? My service manual doesn't show one for my model year, but there's one installed as original equipment in my trailer.

Hello Al,
Sorry about your water problems. I'll send you a message about who may be able to help you.
