'71 Airstream Excella sink - no water!!

(for some reason I cant post a reply on my other post so I am reposting it here. Still no remedy I can find, looking to see if anyone knows what I should do before I mess something up).

This is one of the original Imperial III dishwasher faucets (the one with the little dishwasher handle on top).

When I turn on the water with this faucet, nothing comes out of the sink faucet but water does come out of the little pipe on the bottom that is connected to the dishwasher hose.. telling me I have water but not out of the faucet spigot. Any ideas on how to remedy this?

Did you try cleaning the aerator/screen?

No. Could that really stop the water from coming out of either facet? It seems as though something is not turned on somewhere.

This has been the fix for several people who have reported the same problem. It is an easy thing to check first.

Yes, it can become so completely stopped up that no water at all comes out the faucet. Check it first.
