2017 27FB International Shower Leak

On the most recent trip, we had a serious problem with the shower leaking. The water was coming under the hallway and bedroom walls.I checked the shower enclosure and door calking all seemed good.So I put the plug in the shower drain and put a couple inches of water in the bottom of the shower. No water coming under the walls until I pulled the drain plug.So it seems like there must be a problem with the water escaping from the drain line after it goes out the shower drain.I checked AirForum, many comments on water getting under the door and water escaping because the door calking was not well done, but nothing like this. Any thoughts?

I haven't read about this or experienced it myself. Not sure what is involved with access to the plumbing so if it was me I would take it straight back to the dealer. This should be warranty on a 2017.

One of my worst nightmares!

Sounds like a loose connection in the drain under the shower. Could be a cracked pipe or a fitting that isn't tightened. It's a very difficult place to access. Since you are under warranty, I'd take it back to the dealer and get if fixed. A DIY project of this nature might be more than you want to attempt.

If you have a heater vent on the bedroom/shower wall you can access the P trap and reach in to see the fittings are tight. Only way to access fully is to remove the shower wall so leave it for warranty.

Check to see if there is enough (or any) putty around the drain. Not been a problem in our AS, but our previous SOB had little to none and it flooded horribly. A little plumbers putty mashed around it and problem solved.
