1979 Tradewind--Bathroom

I've been getting some great advice on here, hope it continues with this one. Recently got a 1979 Tradewind and we are wanting to keep the original feel. The Bathroom surfaces, meaning shower, sink, etc... are looking dated.
What is the best way to bring the sink, shower, and other bathroom surfaces back to life? I'm not for sure if painting, polishing, etc... would be best?
Any advice to maintain the character of the unit but make it look better in the bathroom?

Just a lot of folks have had good luck painting their plastic bath fixtures; tub and sink. Sometimes a fiberglass repair is needed. You have a wide range of colors, but the vintage feel would be maintained. There are threads on restoring bathrooms in vintage 79 trailers.

Me, I just installed a traditional bath vanity and shower stall as I didn't care for the sink over tub and hidden toilet arrangement. I relocated the toilet for weight balance and black tank capacity reasons. As many folks have said on these forums: my trailer, my rules.
