1968 Overlander toilet parts

I need help locating a part for my toilet. This is the original toilet from my 1968 26' Overlander International. The plastic (or maybe Teflon) valve which is activated when you depress of the smaller of the two foot pedals (the one that send water into the bowl) is cracked. I tried to repair the valve be covering the hairline crack with epoxy, but that did not work. Everything on this toilet works except for this valve. can somebody help me to find a replacement part.

Your photo shows a "ball valve" for a model 1800.

That valve is no longer listed.

Additionally, the complete mechanism, which includes the slide valve and ball valve, is no longer listed, either.

Sorry.

Any idea what to do now. I really want to keep this toilet. Is there any any to repair this valve. Or can the replacement valves for the new model toilets be made to "fit" this model 1800

The newer styls ball valves will not begin to fit what you have.

I would suggest you ask on this Forums, if someone is discarding that model toilet, and that you need the slide mecahism from it, or at least the ball valve.

Does anybody here have an Aqua Magic model 1800 toilet they are not using or thinking of discarding? I would like to salvage the ball valve from it if possible.

Thanks,
Dan

Sorry I can't help but you might also put an ad on the "wanted" section of the forums classifieds. I've had good luck with that in the past. Good luck!
