Which water heater does Airstream install today?

Curious to know what brand and size water heaters Airstream uses on its new models. Are they going with tankless yet?

My rig came with a 6 gallon Atwood water heater.

While many people like the tankless heaters they have their drawbacks and I doubt if Airstream will switch to them. For example, they would exceed the vaporization rate of the portable propane tanks in cold weather, are not practicable to run on electricity in an RV, and interfere with water conservation when only small amounts of hot water are needed at once.

My 2009 23 FB Flying Cloud also has an Atwood 6 gallon water heater also. It has good recovery time and is fully electronic ignition. Very nice unit, but it failed me last weekend because of the power wire coming lose from the back of the switch in the bathroom wall! No kidding! We were completely baffled by the wire coming lose from the switch.

GAS Wyo, i think my AS may have the same water heater. I have the 20 flyinc cloud, 2010, six gallon tank and it is elec. ignition. I can't figure out how to get the water temperature warmer. ours is warm, not "hot". is there an adjustment know or lever or wheel someplace? I have opened the exterior hatch and looked carefully. found nothing. help???

Check and be sure the bypass valve isn't partway open.
