There's no difference in size. Just pick the one that has the features you want and go for it. I put in the one with electric ignition and runs on both gas and electric. Easy to install and even easier to turn on!

Thanks. Sounds like a plan.

An Atwood 6 gallon pilot water heater cutout is 12 1/2" high X 16 1/2" wide.

Their 10 gallon pilot water heater cutout is 15 1/2" high X 16" wide.

I think the "new new" ones either are gas only, or gas, electric and electronic ignition.

I have a new gas, electric and electric ignition in place. Just hooking up the wiring. wondering if I should add a new breaker to the breaker box? Or, there also appears to be a junction box with 3 110v wires running into it in the closet directly beside the water heater. Can I just splice an outlet into one of these wires?
