waterheater problem

I have no hot water, no red light coming on , think we might of had a power surge during the day while camping. If you have advice on how to get waterheater going please help. What goes to water heater 12 volt or 110? I have a 1994 airstream. Thanks Paula

Switch and red light are 12v, water is heated by gas and/or 110v. the 12v probably has a fuse and 110v would be on a breaker.

I dont know my way around a '94 model, sorry. I would guess that on something that new the fuses and breackers are in the same access panel.
