Question Water Purifier

In strippint out the interior of my 64 Ambassador for remodel I found a HyPur water purifier under the sink. boy I don't think that was easy to service. Does anyone know if the filter packs are still available for this old of model If not guess I'll give to someone as a chrome ash tray.

thanks
Bill

I'll check my 64GT..It has a water filter in it as well...Just don't remember the brand or model but, I found the exact replacement for it..That was neat, after all these years~!
Let's hope you have the same luck..

Talking Water Purifier

This is a chrome container with a big wing nut holding the top on, the filters packs are round with a hole in the center, think there was three of them in there.

My 69 Overlander had a filter from the factory, at least it's in the owner's manual, some PO took it out and replaced it with a filter system from Sears

My '66 has the Everpure brand and the filters are available through Camping world.

http://www.campingworld.com/browse/s...=4142&src=CROS

It is a big silver can for the filter.
