Water Pump Question

I have a 73 tradewind. My water pump stopped working yesterday. The light comes on on the control panel but nothing. My pump, located under the sink is an old pully and belt type. Am I looking at the right thing? I checked the fuse and it's good. Any suggestions?

Check the belt first to see if it jumped off. If the belt is OK use a test light or volt meter to see if you have 12 volts across the 2 wires at the pump when it is on. If you have voltage not sure if you can get to the pressure switch to jumper it out. If you can jumper out the pressure switch and still don't have a pump its time for a new pump.

Mine has a second fuse located behind the control panel also. I won't tell you how long it took me figure that out either.

The 2 wires that feed the pump from the switch have bullet connectors on them near the pump , make sure they are both connected.

Thanks Guys! It was working fine and just stopped. I'll be busy tonight checking everything out. Hope it's a simple fix but if it's like the boat, cha-ching!!!
