Water Pump

I just located another leak in the water distribution system (the 3rd one!). Every time I fix one, I find that there is another. This time it seems to be a cracked bottom plate on the water pump. I've removed the pump and took off the plate. Anyone know if the plate is available as a replacement part?

Craig,

It all depends on the type of pump. There are rebuild kits available for the Par pumps, I am unsure regarding the sureflo models. Unless you are trying to keep it all original you may be as well off to get a new pump as to try to find a repair part. It all comes down to a matter of time and money. It sounds like your trailer might not have been properly winterized You may be chasing leaks of a while. Good luck.

In case anyone has any info, the water pump assembly I have is the PAR 36800 (AS part #600267). And if anyone has an old water pump lying around, I'm just looking for the bottom plate.

Thanks!

I might have. Since I also have an argosy MH, I am concidering turning my argosy 28' 1972 into an office in the front.
But it might be better to just buy a replcement. Since I have two to worry about I keep a spare.

Talking Par water pump

Craig:

I just happen to have what you are loking for. The pump is all apart and am willing to send the whole shootin' match to you, or you can pick it up next time you are in Winnipeg, Canada. lol

I took it apart thinking I had a pump problem and busted one of the bolts, so I bought a new pump.

Gordon,

Thanks, but I found the part I was looking for through a Jabsco repair center.

But how much $ do you want for yours? I wouldn't mind having the spare parts.
